Jersey born and bred, I was diagnosed with dyslexia in secondary school. Since then, I have been devoted to helping individuals with educational needs achieve and unlock their true potential. Having qualified as an Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Teacher, I taught at a charity-based school for children on the autistic spectrum in Guildford for two years before returning to my home island to continue teaching in a mainstream, private school. Whilst becoming a qualified mainstream teacher, I also completed my masters in Education and Specific Learning Difficulties, allowing me to assess, practice and teach dyslexic individuals. Having gained this qualification, I now want to raise awareness of SpLD’s and pursue my passion and assess individuals to access their true potential.
